Happy New Year, darlings!

Yes, this is a week late but whew! I’ve been a busy lil’ Kat, and I have sooo much to share that I might just freakin’ pop. Okay, let’s get goin’! First up–it’s TETNACLES TIME! ARHEHHF

Right, so. Inkredible Love and Ollie’s Octrageously Official Omnibus are both done and just waiting for their sexy release dates. Omnibus should come out before Inkredible Love, and I will post all the preorder info as soon as I have it. I have started writing the last book and the outline is ready to rock, but as usual oops I got distracted by something else.

I have a very special secret Monsters project that I’m working on that should release this fall, and I cannot WAIT for you guys to read it. EEK! It’s gonna be extra special sexy and I’m sooo freakin’ EXCITED. I am also poking at 13 Days of Monster F#cking: Volume 3, but mostly from a gathering ideas/plotting position. I don’t thinkkk I’m going to write any of them yet, but we’ll see what my brain does.

Oh and of course don’t forget that 13 Days of Monster F#cking: Volume 2 is out on Smashwords! All my love to the incredible Mozzarus Scout for helping me write a bunch of these awesome stories. We’re working on the secret Monsters project together too and eee so far it is AWESOMEEEE. Whew okay what’s next

My priority right now is a super secret squirrel collab with strong mafia flavors that I cannot wait to freakin’ announce. Can’t say much more than that right now but I promise more info sooooon!

Once that mafia collab is done, I’m switching back to SFL #9 to finish that series once and for all. I AM SO CLOSE. I will probably work on the secret monsters too, but it’s a lot of easier for my brain to switch between a big WIP and small shorts than it is two big WIP’s at the same time. Plots. Things. Keeping track of what is going on in 8k/60k vs 60k/60k is just agh, much much more better for my brain to process.

Make sense? Yes? YAY! No? Well, I can’t help you because it barely makes sense to meeee! XD

My goal is to have these three projects done and ready to go by the end of March.

After that, I’m sliding back into mafia land for a mafia daddy collab and the final two Cold Hard Cash books. I have some special artwork and new designs coming too for Jimmy and Cold stickers and other goodies, and I’m just agh I really can’t wait to get this series done toooo. Tentatively, I should be working on those over the summer with a demon surprise, maybe a deadly nighttime thing, and something with tentacles to poke at during the fall. Whew. Okay. That’s it! NO MORE MY BRAIN SAYS NO. So cough cough that is my current writing plan as outlined above.

At this time, I will say that the Plot Bunny Hutch is staying locked. My priorities this year are finishing both the Sucker For Love and Cold Hard Cash series, and then writing my collabs as quickly as possible. Last year was a mess for me because I got very behind ’cause family blah blah blah real life sucks, and I don’t want to put myself in that position again.

This may also be the last year I take on so many collabs. I LOVE doing them, I love meeting and working with so many other awesome authors, and yes, it’s incredible that they’re so successful. But agh I still have so many of my own projects that I want to work on. That monster mafia idea is eating at me somethin’ hard right now, as is the zombie idea that I’ve been nibbling on and ahhhh toooo many boooks to writeeee xD XD XD

We don’t talk about Robots.

But yeah so! Whew! That’s what my 2023 is looking like. My goal is to knock these beautiful books out so I can have a relaxing holiday and try to brainstorm what new series I am going to tackle next. I really want to finally get at some of the ideas that have been hiding in my plot bunny hutch for years and ugh it’s so hard to choose. I’m between the new Sucker For Love series that would follow Alexander, Rota, and Ollie plus Stoker, the Monster Mafia series that will be dark and monstery, or the Zombie Apocalypse that will be, well, it will have zombies lol. That’s all I’m saying.

There’s more than that, of course, but that’s for future Kat to worry about. I’ve got a lottt more to do before I even get to that point, but I am excited to see what happens next! Ollie’s Octrageously Official Omnibus, the illustrated guide for the Sucker For Love universe, is FINISHED. Editing is done, cover is done, and I should hopefully have a release date soooon! Inkredible Love SFL #8 has been accepted, and I am thinking that editing and production stuff should start before 2022 leaves us. I am about halfway done with Asta and Jay’s mini-series, but uhhh oops it’s not so mini now.

Oh, it will be five chapters, I said. It won’t take very long, I said.

I am a liar.

I am currently on chapter four and to keep up with my planned outline, it’s gonna be at least eight chapters if not more.

Oops.

Not that I think any of you will be complaining about having a bigger freebie, but omfg I didn’t think it was going to take this long. ^^;;

I was hoping to be starting on SFL #9 today actually, but instead I’m scrambling to finish Jay and Asta’s story. I’m gonna get to Sloane and Loch soon, no worries about that, but I am no longer confident that I am going to be able to finish their book by the end of the year. Being that it’s the last book of the series, I really wanted to take my time too so just the outlining is gonna take a few days.

Add in the fact that I am still working on getting 13 Days of Monster F#cking Volume 2 ready to be my final 2022 release, uh yeahhhh no. I’m freakin’ doomed. XD

Oh! If you missed out on the 13 Days Volume 2 teasers, they’re still available for your reading pleasure in my FB group for free! What I’m working on now is editing and expanding each teaser so they will be 8k to 10k and full of extra sexy bits. 5/13 are done, so I still got over half to write and sexify and then get proofed and thennn formatted and whew!

Having Volume 2 release before Christmas remains my goal, and that will ultimately take priority over any new tentacles shenanigans. I’ve been writing Asta and Jay’s stuff in between each “day”, so I may actually finish their story before I finish the monsters, but I will definitely finish monsters before I start Sloane and Loch so they have my attention. Make sense? Good! No? Welcome to my world! XDXDXD

Even though Sloane and Loch’s story may stagger over, I do have a very solid 2023 writing schedule that includes lots of sexy new collabs andddd the end to another series: Cold Hard Cash!

Yup. The end. No more. No mos. That’s it.

I’ll be writing the book about Cold’s mysterious half-brother and then the last book for Jimmy and Cold to give them their ultimate happily ever after. <333

Over the years, I’ve talked about doing other stories like Thirdsies/Pym and so on, but I am going to say right now that’s not happening. As much as I would love to keep playing in the CHC sandbox, I have too many other ideas for new series, new worlds, and new crazy adventures to go on. I also have zero desire for this series to grow stagnant and drag it on needlessly by trying to keep pumping out more and more books–books, honestly, that my heart is just not in to write.

Jimmy and Cold will always be very special to me, but it’s time to say goodbye. <333

Happy May, darlings!

Waaah? What do you mean this post is five days late? I have no idea what you’re talking about. It’s not like I’m scrambling to finish a WIP because I have like ten more to do and I maybe might have forgot about my blog. Except I did. Oops. XD

The entire series will be going to KU, and that includes Our Shellfish Desires releasing in KU as well! WOO WOO! I am not sure how soon it will happen because it’s up to Amazon at this point and their unpredictable enrollment process, but keep your eyeballs peeled because I will be posting as soon as the series is enrolled and ready to go! 😀 😀 😀

Speaking of SFL, if you wanna sneak peek at #7 and #8, you better head over to Patreon while you still can! Editing on #7 will begin soon, and I will remove all the WIP chapters at that time. The final chapter for #8 posts tomorrow, but those will also come down when editing with my pubby begins.

The closer I get to the end of this series, the more bittersweet it is. <333

I still have to finish the Super Secret Squirrel Project, the mini-series for Asta and Jay, a handful of bonus scenes, and #9 of course, but then that’s it. Like, there is a very real ending for this series, and it’s not that far away AT ALL OMGGG. It’s just hit me that I will finish writing it this year.

2022 is the last year of Sloane and Loch! D: D: D:

Naturally, I still have plans to write the Hidden World series in that same universe, but whew that will not be happening for a while. My writing schedule is already packed full, and I’ve tried to update it here in this blog so you guys can see what I’m working on now. I’m about to finish my first collab, a sexy Daddy Mafia book with a very special MC who gets himself his first boy, and then it’s onto the Super Secret Squirrel Project and 8 Days of Monstrous Pride.

8 Days of Monstrous Pride is a special project that I am planning to release for Pride Month, and I will donate a portion of the profits to the Trevor Project, the Gilbert Baker Foundation, and Haunters Against Hate, some of my favorite LGBTQ+ charities. This whole idea snuck on me because I’ve been missing monsters and I’ve always wanted to create something special for Pride. It’s going to be eight stories inspired by the meanings of the original eight colors of the first pride flag designed by Gilbert Baker.

After all that fun stuff is done, it’s back to writing the books for the other sexy collabs coming later this fall. I can’t give you a lot of details, but I cannnn say that the next one is gonna be a ghostly good time. I’m also planning another volume of Monster F#cking plus a collection of fluffier sweet Monsters Making Love stories! I am hoping for a double release on Halloween, but ehhhh!? XD We’ll see!

If it doesn’t look good for the home team, I may bump 13 Days of Monsters Making Love to 2023. Maybe for Valentine’s Day? Awww, yeah. That’s a good plan. Nothing more sweet or romantic than monsterssss. <333

Uhhh, let’s see. What else…

I think my blog last month was too short, and this one is gonna be too long, ha.

Tl;dr I am writing my butt off to get everything done that has a deadline on it, but I snuck in some monster romance and secret squirrel things, and I swear I’ll get to the last Sucker For Love book by the end of the year. I’m confident that I’ll finish writing it before the ball drops once the collabs and monstery things are taken care of, but I very much doubt it’ll release until 2023.

I do feel bad that some projects keep getting kicked aside (Robots, Jay and Asta, Cold Hard Cash sequels, every bonus scene ever that I either write WAY AHEAD or literally the week of a new release), but the muse is being very particular about what they want to do. I am very sorry if there’s a particular book you’re waiting on me to write, and all I can say is that I doing my absolute best to keep words flowing. I hope you’re excited about what I have planned for the year, and I seriously cannot wait to share all these awesome stories with you guys!

My tentative plan is that once my current schedule is done, including everything for the Sucker For Love series, I am going to FINALLLYYY tackle Robots. Poor, poor Robots that has been neglected for years and years. Literally years at this point, agh! X_X

And THEN, and only THEN, probably late 2022/early 2023ish, I am going back to Cold Hard Cash land to finish that darn series. I want CHC finished before I start anything else, and that includes the new Hidden World series in tentacles land that I want to write. I am never ever everrrr going to write two series at the same time everrrrr again because one of them will always end up sucking hind tit–especially when I get distracted by random crazy projects. ^^;;

I mean, I think they’re all crazy AWESOME COOOOL projects, but still! XD

Happy March, my darlings!

I have LOTS of exciting news to share with you! Whew! First off, props to my first non-English title, Amour Tentaqueulaire! This is the French translation of Acsquidentally In Love, and I am so very excited! WOO! I FEEL FANCY! Also, I have been told that I will be listening to auditions next week of potential narrators for Acsquidentally In Love! That’s right, darlings–Tentacles is getting its first audio release!

Now I don’t have any info for a potential release date on the audio or any idea of when/if my publisher will produce any additional translations or audiobooks for the Sucker For Love series. I really hope they do, of course, but right now I don’t know. I will keep you all posted if I hear anything!

Speaking of audio… the audiobook of Cold Hard Cash is complete.

Yup. That’s right. There is an audiobook for Cold Hard Cash, and it is finally done. This has been an intense and crazy labor of love over the last two years, and I am freakin’ pumped to finally share it with you all. I’m aiming for an April release, and I will post all the nifty details as soon as I can.

Okay, whew, what else?

Sucker For Love #5: Just Calamarried is still available for preorder, I just finished the final round of edits for Our Shellfish Desires (SFL #6), and I’m nearly done with the rough draft of Insquidious Devotions (SFL #7). Admittedly, I have been a bit behind schedule. I wanted to have Insquidious‘s draft done weeks ago, but I’m still very happy with how it’s turning out. Up next will be SFL #8 (the infamous book that’s been done foreverrr) and then onto SFL #9 to finish the series. I can’t believe it’s almost done! OMG!

After all my lovely Tentacles projects are wrapped up, then it’s back to mafia land with a new tale about Jules Price from Cold Hard Cash… and a brand new boy. I can’t say too much else right now, but it’s gonna some good ol’ sexy mafia fun.

I also have several other cool projects coming out this year like a serial killer romance, more monster romance, ghostly things… and oh yeah there’s that pesky robot romance I keep meaning to edit and it’s been stuck on hold for years. Literally years. But you see, look, there are some issues. It’s very short, the pacing is a bit rushed, the world building is messy, and I wrote it a super long time ago before I learned a lot of cool stuff (like what the heck a misplace modifier is). I’ve had a wonderful beta read through it, I know what I need to do, but basically gutting this story is something I can’t seem to find the energy for.

It doesn’t help that I keep picking up new projects but ahhh must follow the muse! And the muse wants tentacles and gangsters right now. I will complete my robot romance, but it’ll have to be after some of these other books are done–especially the ones that have pesky deadlines.

Oh yeah, and there’s that mini-series I was going to write to explain what happens between Jay and Asta. And I need to write more monsters. Like, so many monsters.

Oops.

Okay, but no more new projects. I can do this. I am a strong determined human, and I can behave. Tentacles, then Jules, then other secret thingies with deadlines, and then… I have no idea. There’s no telling what I’m going to be feeling by the time I’m done, I am hoping to keep on making 2022 a kickass year. Probably bit off a bit more than I can chew but I am confident I can make it work.

After all, who needs sleep? XD

I’m about halfway through the rough draft of Sucker For Love #7: Insquidious Devotions (which you can totally read along with my progress over at my Patreon!) and then it’s right over to SFL #8! I am SUPER stoked to finally finish a darn series, and I can see the enddddd! It’s so close!

13 Days of Monster F#cking is finally DONE and ready to release December 17th! You can still find the original shorts here free to read in my FB group, and I will have a small preview of a few *extended* chapters available on Book Funnel later this week. The final cut is 109k of dirty wonderful monster smut, and I hope you guys check it out!

Just Calamarried is going to release March 22, 2022! WOO-HOO! I still have not heard on whether or not Our Shellfish Desires has officially been accepted but hopefully I will hear something soon! *DYING* As a writer who once upon a time got a crap ton of rejection letters, the submission process is still very nerve wracking for me. XD

December is going to be my “catch up” month. I have bonus scenes, prompts, and some other odds and ends to finish up before I finally settle down to tackle the outline for Sucker For Love #7 (tentatively titled Insquidious Devotions). I’m working on a super secret squirrel project for the Sucker For Love universe, and I really hope you guys like it… If I can pull it off, that is!

More about that later… bwuhahaha!

Yeah so writing bonus scenes for Just Calamarried, Our Shellfish Desires, A Quick Buck, finishing up some Patreon prompts (one of which is an unused 13 Days Monster prompt I had swapped out for something else), Super Secret Squirrel Project, aaand the SSSP is going to help me get ready for Tentacles #7! Bwuhaha! More evil laughter! My plan is to go directly to #8 and #9 to finish the series, and that’s going to be my focus for the next little bit.

As I’ve said before, don’t worry if you’re one of my mafia fans! I will return to the world of Cold Hard Cash! I just really REALLY need to finish a darn series before I get into anything else, and right now my muse wants tentacles. XD

Nautilus Than Perfect is here! Thank you so much to everyone for all the awesome reviews and loving this book! Your support means the moons and stars to me! It’s one of my favorites, and I’m so glad everyone has enjoyed getting to know Chase and Merrick. For all those readers worried about poor Ollie–don’t fret. I am about to submit book #6 and he will get his happy ending, I promise. <333

I have finished the 13 Days of Monster F#cking and you can find the original shorts here free to read in my FB group! The published collection is gonna be longer, dirtier, and I’m set to finish at 100k so there will be plenty of new sexy monster lovin’ goodness! It will be coming out next month, and I hope you guys check it out! I will still have a small preview of the book available through Book Funnel, but the final masterpiece is just too epic to give away. It was different when I thought it was just gonna be a few little shorts but oops I apparently cannot write anything that is not novel length.

My plan for 2021 remains the same as before: edit and submit Shellfish, work on sexy monster shorts to release next month, and then I will begin outlining Tentacles #7.

From there, I am going to power through the rest of the Sucker For Love series as #8 is already written and then that just leaves #9 to finish the series! WOO! Once that’s done, I have a new book for the Cold Hard Cash universe to write (the certain special one I’ve been teasing a little bit about Cold’s maybe half-brother), which I think will also help me get moving on the final book for Jimmy and Cold.

As some of you may know if you read my blogs, I have really been struggling with getting my muse going to write the last book for my very first boys. I think I might finally have a magical little idea brewing now, but it will involve writing that other book first. Once I’m done with Sucker For Love, those mafia books will be my next priority so whew! We shall see from 2022 brings us!

Hello, my darlings! I hope everyone is having a fabulously spooky October so far! I’ve been crazy busy, and I can’t wait to share all the exciting book news with you guys!

Real quick tho! I want to apologize to anyone who has tried to reach me through the message feature on my “About Me” page and did not receive a reply. I did not realize that pretty much every email that is created through that application ends up in my spam folder which I confess I do not regularly check. I have also apparently been having issues when people try to reply to me through the newsletter because that’s like a 50/50 crap shoot of ALSO going into my spam folder. I’ve tried to contact everyone whose messages I was able to find, and I am sincerely sorry to anyone I might have missed! I LOVE hearing from fans, and I am so very sorry about the mess! I have now set all the messages to go to a different email, and I am hoping this fixes the problem.

Okay. Now for all the fun book things!

Don’t forget Nautilus Than Perfect is still up for preorder and will be coming out 10-26-21! Less than two weeks to go! This is #4 in my Sucker For Love series, and it is packed full of sexy tentacle goodness! I’ve begun editing Just Calamarried (#5) with my publisher, and I’m expecting a release date early next year. I have completed the rough draft of Our Shellfish Desires (#6), and I am hoping to submit that by the end of the month. That only leaves TWO books to write for this series (#7 and #9 since I already wrote #8 forever ago), and I am really excited about finally finishing it.

Don’t fret, my tentacle pets. Even after I finish Sucker For Love, I am still going to write more books set in the magical city of Archersville. I may take a wee bit of a break, but I am still planning to write the Hidden World series, a collection of books that will follow Jay, Asta, Sullivan Stoker, and many more including lots of new characters!

And yes, for those keeping track of my rambling, I know I said that Jay and Asta were going to have their own mini-series. They probably mostly likely still will. However, I’ve noticed how often readers mention them in reviews, SO it would behoove me to take note and probably do a little something more with these boys. They would fit in well with the Hidden World plot I have planned, but I do worry about using them as MC’s since Asta doesn’t have tentacles.

For a series all about tentacles, that’s a problem. *cough*Kraken My Heart*coughcough*. Which is why I was going to create the Jay/Asta mini-series as its own separate thing to read through like Book Funnel or something. I’m still thinking it over, but I’m very wary of making the same mistake twice. But hey! I still have to get through the rest of Sucker For Love first! Whew!

Up next is #7, another Sloane and Loch book! I haven’t done diddly on it because of the ten million other things I’m working on, but I expect to start the rough draft before the end of the year.

One of the ten million things happens to be a collection of short stories I will be sharing counting down the days to Halloween: 13 Days of Monster F!cking! This is a monster fucker’s wet dream with everything from ghosts, werewolves, shadow demons, and–you guessed it–monsters with big ol’ tentacles. I will be posting the stories for free in my FB Group starting October 19th although my very lucky Patreon peeps have already been enjoying the sexy monster goodness!

My plan is to take all thirteen shorts, edit them, make them extra filthy, and release them in December for a spooky little Christmas! While I finish those up, my other writing has paused (except for publisher edits), and I’m over halfway done! YAY! I think it is worth mentioning that the final story, the one I plan to release on Halloween, will star Jimmy and Boss Cold. So, even if you’re not into monsters, you might enjoy Jimmy and Cold having a very fun Halloween! XD

Speaking of my CHC boys, let’s talk mafia stuff! Editing has begun on A Quick Buck, and my publisher is looking at November 19th as a potential release date. This has not been fully confirmed, but they’ve been kind enough to work with me so this book’s release doesn’t collide with Nautilus sooo that’s the date we’re eyeballing. The title may also change, so don’t be surprised if something different pops up later. It’s still the same book, just a new name.

I am still planning something naughty with Cold’s maybe possibly long lost brother and a member of the Luchesi family, but I am not sure when I am going to write it. As usual. I know, I’m awful. I’ve discussed in other blogs that it’s difficult for me switching between the modern world of CHC and the magical land of Sucker For Love, and I am SO CLOSE to finishing SFL. Plus, I already have outlines for the remaining SFL books.

I know a lot of you don’t care for tentacle or monster things so you won’t be interested in most of these upcoming stories. I ask for your patience while I try to finish Sucker For Love and my Halloween collection, and I will do my best to get new mafia sexiness out to you as soon as I can. In addition to the book for Cold’s sort of maybe brother, I still need to write the last Cold Hard Cash book for Jimmy and Boss Cold. My brain has refused to cooperate, and I dare wonder sometimes if it’s my subconscious way of refusing to say goodbye to them, LOL.

I also have that robot book that has been haunting my dreams… but I’m going to ignore it. Not really, but agh, I got myself into a mess because I wanted to write the Halloween shenanigans before moving on to anything else. I’m in a bit of a hole with what I want to do versus how much time I actually have, but I am doing my very best to get everything sorted and keep making fun and sexy books for you all to enjoy.

So, my tentative plan for the rest of 2021 is to finish the Halloween shorts while working on edits with my publishers, edit Shellfish to submit, THEN I will finally maybe work on my robot book while also editing aforementioned Halloween shorts to release for a spooky Christmas. After that, if my brain is not complete goo, I will start on the next Sucker For Love book and maybe plot some new CHC world adventures.

Whew! Okay! Lots of new stuff to discuss! It’s always amazing to me how much can happen in a month, and I have lots of good news! First up, Head Over Tentacles is LIVE, and the reviews have been amazing. Thank you to EVERYONE who took the time to share the love. I’m so very happy that you guys enjoyed catching back up with Sloane and Loch!

Don’t forget that Nautilus Than Perfect is still up for preorder and will be coming out 10-26-21! This story stars Chase and Merrick, and their romance is one of my absolute favorites. And don’t worry. There’s plenty of tentacles because maaaybe one of them is not human. Hehehe! <333

Next up, I am super happy to announce that Just Calamarried: Sucker For Love #5 has been accepted for publication! WHOOOO! We will rejoin Sloane and Loch in this adventure to see how married life is treating our boys and their very unexpected surprise from the end of HoT. I have no release date, no timeframe on editing, no nothing. I LITERALLY got the email today, LOL! I will keep you guys posted with new info as soon as I can!

And yet in more tentacle news, I am about halfway done with the rough draft of Our Shellfish Desires: Sucker For Love #6. Many people in the reviews of Head Over Tentacles mentioned their love for Rota and Alexander, and THIS is their book. I know they totally seemed like the logical choice for the next book and not Chase/Merrick, but there are some plot things that had to happen first BEFORE I could tell their story.

Namely, the introduction of a very special character in Nautilus Than Perfect that is going to help Rota and Alexander find their happy ending…

I never know how much to spoil — I mean, all you have to do is ask me and I will tell you just about anything LOL — but I don’t wanna ruin anything for readers who would rather wait! So, just trust me. There is a good reason I waited to write the book for Alexander and Rota. It’s a very cute, very ginger reason! <333

Now, for my mafia fans!!! A Quick Buck is DONE and I am editing it to send off to my publisher! I can’t wait for you guys to meet Noah and get to know Alistair a little better. OMG the kinks in this book: spanking, cock spanking, orgasm denial, human furniture, and more! It’s hot, sexy, and I LOVE the mystery in this one. It was a lot of fun and although I don’t plan on writing more for these two, I am very happy with their story. I will let you guys know when/if it gets accepted and all that fun!

Now, I talked a little bit last month about not being sure about what to do after I finished SFL #6. It is a big struggle bouncing between a modern world like the CHC verse and then back to Tentacle Land where I am constantly forgetting things (like wait, who has what magic now? Did Loch already fix that stupid statue at the bar!? AGH!). When I finish #6, I only have two more books to write for that series since #8 is technically done, and the ideas for both #7 and #9 are really solid in my brain.

So……

Unless I have a huge break-through on CHC 5, I am going to see SFL through until the end. I am gonna stay in Tentacle Land until I finish the last three books, the mini-series for Jay and Asta, and any and all bonus scenes. WHEW!

I want to finish CHC so badly, but I honestly have no spark to write it. I have a vague idea of what’s going to happen, I know what characters are going to come back, but mehhhh. I got nothin’. It sucks because I know how much everyone loves Jimmy and Cold, but I can’t force myself to write a story that I’m not feeling. I am still very interested in writing about Cold’s half-brother and maybe a guy from the Luchesi gang because why not, but even that is mostly just a collection of smutty ideas and not a solid story yet.

There will be a small break in between SFL #6 and #7 where I finally finish editing Love Not Included for publication because I’ve had the beta notes back forever and I already have the cover and ugh. I love this story. It’s a lot of fun. BUT it needs a lot of freakin’ work to get it up to snuff with the rest of my books since I wrote it such a long time ago. I’m still planning to release it this year, so maybe Nov or Dec depending on where my other releases fall. <333

Strapped For Cash is LIVE and the pre-order for Head Over Tentacles is LIVE and OMG! It’s been a crazy year. I released a new book in March, April, May, and June. Wow. I’m freakin’ blown away by how much has happened and so very quickly, and the year isn’t over yet! Head Over Tentacles will be out August 24th and Nautilus Than Perfect comes out in October! WOO!

I’m almost halfway through the rough draft of A Quick Buck, and I expect to publish that before the end of the year PLUS I am going to finally finish Love Included, Heart Not Required. I already have the cover for Love, and omg is it GORGEOUS. I seriously can’t WAIT to show you guys. It’s a bit backwards for me as I usually have the book done long before the cover, but well, it’s been a little nuts lol. With all my other projects going on, I kept shoving Love on the backburner and then I had trouble getting a beta to help me and ugh… it’s been a whole thing.

So, tl;dr, my final goal is to release a minimum of four more books this year, the two Sucker For Love books that are already scheduled plus A Quick Buck and Love Included, Heart Not Required.

Beyond that? WHO KNOWS!

It’s always sort of funny when I sit down to write this monthly update because I look back at the one I wrote for the previous month and see how far I’ve come… or how wildly off track I am. Once I finish my current WIP, I’ve become a bit fuzzy on what to do next. I still very much want to start the next Sucker For Love book for my beloved Alexander, Rota, and Ollie – plus I have oodles of bonus scenes and this funny little mini-series idea for Jay and Asta that’s been rolling around in my head – but I’m getting distracted.

I teased last month about writing something with Boss Cold having a half-sibling running around somewhere and now it’s infected my brain. Send help. While I still intend to only write one more book for Cold and Jimmy, I very much want to continue writing adventures in the world of Strassen Springs. I haven’t worked out all the details yet, but I want to do something with this mystery half-brother and perhaps a member of the Luchesi family. Yes, it’s very corny Romeo and Juliet blah blah but I think it’ll be fun and very, very naughty.

Switching back to Tentacles Land, I wanted to say something else about the bonus scenes. You see, I just realized that I had never written any kind of bonus content for Sloane and Loch. Or Ted and Grell. Oops. To remedy that, I am planning several fun sexy bonus stories for all of them PLUSSS writing ahead and doing some extra sexy fun bits for Merrick and Chase, new characters that you’ll meet in Nautilus Than Perfect. I really should have just written the bonus content at the same time as the darn books like I did for Strapped for Cash, but hindsight is 20/20 and all that.

Lesson learned!

Speaking of learning, eagle-eyed readers will notice that Jinn & Tonic has vanished from my future project list. Without going into too many pitiful details, let’s just say my muse for that series got hit by a dump truck and I learned that self-pub is not my friend. I expect that Love Included, Heart Not Required will be my last self-pub for some time while I focus on my Sucker For Love and Cold Hard Cash books. I really need to finish at least one freakin’ series before my brain gets off its leash and pulls me into another world.

Or more spin-offs…

Just in the world of Strassen Springs, I’m working on A Quick Buck and Half-Brother Shenanigans. In Tentacle Land, there’s the Hidden World that I’m itching to start because it focuses on the everlasting people who survived on Aeon and what their descendants are up to like the infamous Fish Boy. I also have this delightful idea for ANOTHER tentacle series because I have watched Psycho Goreman too many times — which if you haven’t seen but you like campy horror, you MUST WATCH IT. Omg. Two words. “HUNKY BOYS”.

Or wait oh maybe this hunky boy series could tie into the Hidden World somehow… agh… see!? I have to stay focused! XD

Oh, oh, oh, and there’s the Suckers and Spats series, which would be a mafia tentacles series of books totally separate from either Sucker for Love or CHC, and, and… yeah, I’ve gotta stop.
